    For the Love Of Green and Gold....

    I was one that hated to see Favre leave. I was one that supported Favre with the Jets and yes, wanted to see him do well with the Vikings. Not because I wanted to see the Vikings beat the Packers....it was because I wanted to see him go out on top....and it hurt big time to even imagine it being with a team other than the Packers.

    All I'm saying is I'm seeing some threads being brought back that just bring up a lot of hard feelings. Like the title says......For the love of Green and Gold can't we just appreciate what each individual QB has brought to the Packers and be happy this team has been a winning team for a very long time? I support Rodgers 100% because he is my team's QB..............BUT I will always remember good times with the former QB's and to trash talk them just seems juvenile.

    We are called Packer Nation for a reason. Let's rejoice in the past success, the present and the future!! Love you all........Peace!

              Serving others a three-course meal consisting of boiled crow, grilled crow, and deep fried crow is an essential part of the online experience. It's just the nature of the beast. I wish PacoPete and PackerArcher were still around so I could serve those two clowns their well deserved meal.

              There are only 2 ways to avoid being served. One, don't participate. Two, don't ever, ever, EVER be wrong. The former is impractical, the latter is impossible. What I'm saying then is, essentially, that thick skin and the ability to laugh at yourself from time to time is an absolute requirement of being part of a community like this one. They're only hard feelings if you allow them to be.

                    Wow, A-Rod's playing so well it is easy to close the chapter on Favre.

                    However, Favre is the one who left in such a way that made enemies out of friends. It's natural for people to have some resentment. I think the ball is completely in his court as to how fast the strained relationships are repaired.

                        Screw Favre! I'm sorry but no player is above the team and that arrogant prick thought he was. Also this is my personal opinion, I don't mind anyone who cheered for the guy when he was on the Jets but anyone who actually cheered for him while he was playing for the Vikings is not a true fan in my book. The guy plan out said he wanted to play for the Vikings to stick it to the Packers and I was so happy when that ass wipe threw that pick against the Saints. Screw the Vikings and the so called Packer "fans" who actually wore those horrible half Packer half Vikings Favre jerseys that made me puke in my mouth every time I saw them.

                        Shout out to the fans who were patient and stood behind TT because they felt he was building a team the right way. GO PACK GO!

                          I lurked back in the days of the revolution so my emotional level may not be as high as some of yours. keeping this in mind:

                          Why do some of us like picking at scabs? He is long gone and has been replaced by an extremely talented qb who in some ways is superior to Farve. So in the end don't worry, be happy and keeping on looking for new rings.
