OK, being undefeated it's good to start this off on a positive note and with something that brings out great love.
It's approaching GAMEDAY, and as our kool aide is spiked with optimism and confidence
Want to overlook the Bucs ?........................A Message needs to be sent
Why the Wake up Call ? Are you thinking there is no way we could possibly lose to a frickin down and dirty Tampa Bay Buccaneer squad left by Josh Freeman (Red's most overrated QB in the NFL) when their team look near lifeless as of late ?
If you think this can't happen, I've got a nice vid for you
NOVEMBER 8, 2009
History may repeat itself. Two lowly years ago, on his fist career start in the NFL, the hopeless, absolutely pathetic winless Tampa Back Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers 38-28 in what was probably the most ashaming defeat in the MM reign
On Offense, Tampa Bay has the type of Maulers needed to slow down the Green Bay Offense..........in other words..........keep them off the field. Left tackle Donald Penn and right guard Davin Joseph are Pro Bowl players, while center Jeff Faine is as nasty as they come. With BJ Raji seeming to be wearing down, his snaps will get cut back, and with a more healthy Blount I expect Tampa Bay to successfully run against the Green Bay Packers and essentially find a way to keep the Green Bay Offense off the field more than usual. Blount will run with power and we'll see an old friend spelling him in Lumpy Lumpkin. As the safeties edge up, expect a couple successful long balls as well. In terms of protecting Freeman, Tampa Bay ranks fifth in protecting Freeman having allowed only 15 sacks. The balance they will show on offense will have da Homerrats squirming.
The best way to describe the Bucs this year is competivie but all over the place.....beating some good teams and getting crushed by others. They have a fiery coach who I'd expect to bounce back hard after a good old fashion asskicking. The last time they came off a waxing was when they were pummeled 48-3 by San Francisco. They followed this up with their best showing in the season and a defeat of the Saints 26-20. History will repeat itself again.
The Bucs are going to control the gameclock tomorrow. They will limit the opportunities we have on offense and come out with a bend but not break game plan on defense. We will move the ball at will but struggle to get the ball into the end Zone. On defense we'll be frustrated. Remember good old Josh from two years ago ? Dude is going to get plenty of first downs with his feet in between TB pounding Blount.
AROD will not be in complete rhythym due to the Bucs keeping him off the field a lot and playing somewhat of a prevent defense. The long balls won't be there, and with the addition of Big Albert its going to be a challenge to get any consistent running attack going. We move the ball but the scores will be though.
Kool Aide aside, we're in a dogfight tomorrow. The Bucs have good talent and they have a team whose OL can pound the crap out of our defense and keep the offense offense off the field. Who wins ? George has a message for you
Tampa Bay 27
Greeen Bay 26............take it to the Bank
Whammy Live on !!!!
