Bears and Texans are pretty low on the waiver wire. Seahawks? Colts? Redskins? Cardinals?I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Very surprising to me.Originally posted by mmmdk View PostTexans say that they're not interested in Orton."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Fast paced O? They have two RBs on pace for 1000 yards. And it shouldn't be too hard to be better than Matt Leinart. Would you bet your playoff life on Orton or Leinart? Orton had some good run with Brandon Marshall. He could do the same with Andre Johnson + Owen Daniels. They just need somebody not to screw things up. I wouldn't bet on Leinart not to screw things up.Originally posted by MadtownPacker View PostSurprising hearing this from the guru. Orton doesnt fit the fast paced O they run IMO."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. Orton is probably better than Mr. Hanie, but he doesn't know the Chicago players and offense anymore, so its not like he is quick fix for next 6 weeks

I heard today that Orton has told his agent he wants the Bears or nothing.
And now I know for real that Brent is retired...his name didn't come up at all in da Bears search. I mean, we've got an NFC North foe of the Packers with a real strong shot at the SB...and no Brent talk?
He's retired for real!"The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."
