So the following are teams which we might face in the playoffs and there off and def ppg and TO margin

    SF 23.8 /14.6 /+16
    NO 32.9 /22.9 /-3
    Chi 26.2 /21.1 /9
    Dal 24.5 /20.5 /5
    Bal 24.7 /16.5 /4
    Pitt 21.2 /17.1 /-8
    NE 30.1 /20.3 /6
    Hou 26.6 /16.3 /11
    Compared to
    GB 34.7 /20.6 /15

Now I realize there is more to each game than this, but these give you a good snapshot of a team.
Who do you fear and why? Who do you want to see and why?
For me I would love to see Pitt again - cant see till sb and the TO diffential means an other ring. On route dallas will be easy as their d cant keep up.
Baltimores D is scary. I am suprised how good NE defence is so they would be tough to beat especially the way they use the TE. NO would be another track meeting.
SF is not concerning after watchin the Ravens move somewhat effectivly through the air, and Hou has some dude at qb now.

The packer defense is giving up over 300 yards per game. They ought to just be focused on trying to win a game in New York tomorrow.

that's how the d's been playing all year (and most of last year). they always given up yards but not at the expense of winning. when it matters they get tough, get turnovers, get a stop, or limit it to a fg.

That is not a good sign for me. Sigh....
For what its worth the three stats are Off Points per game, Def Points per game allowed and turnover margin.
The thoughts are just my simplified thoughts, poor grammer included.

I must admit I have never been Patlerized, and look forward to the experience. I think it is due to one of two reasons.
1 I have perfect logic and abilities of stats
2 None of my posts are worth it.

I am leaning towards number 1 as the real reason (logically speaking of course).

So seriously anyone else looking at the playoff field and what the other teams will be that will challenge us?

Some feel the best barometer to look at is passer rating differential. If that's the case, no one can beat the Packers.

                  San Francisco 91.7/75.7 16.0
                  New Orleans 103.7/86.7 17.0
                  Chicago 82.3/78.0 4.3
                  Dallas 96.0/80.8 15.2
                  Baltimore 79.7/67.8 11.9
                  Pittsburgh 92.7/78.5 14.2
                  New England 105.1/84.1 21.0
                  Houston 95.9/62.1 33.8
                  Green Bay 126.4/78.1 48.3

Keep in mind that Houston is now down to 3rd string at QB.

Thanks joe, I miss the free chff. So only bal and hou have sub 70 dpass rating, that is a good sign for us. Pitt plays bal well and that is good for us I think.

Based on the way the pass D is giving up huge yardage and a lot of points, I only "fear" the teams with QBs that can get really hot. Eli is one of them, so GB winning yesterday allayed that a bit for me. But the others would be NO, Pitt, and NE. All three of them have QBs that can have out of this world games. The rest either have injuries or like to keep the score low.
