We were luckty to win last week but our offense saves our pathetic defensive showing
Expect this week to be another huge test
CONSIDER
We face a desperate to win Oakland Raiders team fighting for the playoffs
They have one of the top OL's in the NFL and are among the top 4-7 in rushing yards, yards per rush, and sacks allowed
Our Defensive Line has been pretty sad lately
The Raiders are very balanced on offensive playcalling with 366 runs and 372 pass attempts
And they have the speed to take advantage of the recent poor play of Sam I lost my covering Shield and Toast Williams
Marshmellow Newhouse still starts and They have a DL that is tied for 5th in sacks
To me, all of this adds to a scary game. When the Packers are on defense, expect them to pound the ball with the good Bush while trying to expose the bad Bush occasionally in coverage. This trench matchup will lead to the Raiders effecitive slowing the game down pouning the good Bush left and right. When we cheat up, expect the Raiders to effectively attack our secondary with a couple deep balls.
When the Packers are on offense, it will be a challenge keeping them from hitting Aaron Rodgers. While the Raiders stink against the run, our rushing offense sux much more so I don't see much more than sporadic success in the run game. With that being said, if AROD gets time the Raiders secondary is very overmatched and will be exposed...in between AROD running for his life.
With the Raiders pounding the ball and the efficiency of Carson Palmer improving, I'm calling a close game on Sunday.
