    I believe he tried to buy the Rams a few years ago.

    he is also one of my customers. I now know a NFL owner.

      Big deal, LW. I am an NFL owner myself. Hahaaha!

      He did, indeed, bid for the Rams when they were up for sale. But I have to wonder how "hands on" he will be with the club. IIRC, he is the owner of a bunch of companies, mostly parts manufaturing plants for the auto industry. Guy has a lot of energy invested in those. Must be a heck of a guy!

            I read where he 'promised' not to move the team. I'm reminded how Kohl wouldnt sell the Bucks to Mjs and Oprahs group because they wouldnt put in writing that the Bucks would stay in Milwaukee. The Jags are not long for Florida.

                    The outgoing owner promised the team wouldn't move based on a conversation with the incoming owner. As far as I've read, the incoming owner hasn't said a thing about that.
                    No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.
