Two weeks ago I made a joke about some of us being called up to be backup lb's. I think it is more probable for OL. Anyone here on the large side? I'm like a fat weak Scott Wells.

Newhouse and Taylor were offensive tackles during some overlapping years at TCU. I wonder if that connection has something to do with picking him up. If nothing else, the packer scout had his eye on both guys. I assume that scout is no longer with us. Just kidding, newhouse has shown potential, especially for low round pick.

If Clifton and Bulaga can't go, which seems likely, this guy is going to have to be activated on Sunday. He hasn't played in the NFL since 2009? This situation sucks and I can't believe there isn't someone out there that might be better.

I admit, I have never heard of the guy, but that means ZERO in the cosmos of professional football. M3 alluded to the fact that they'd been in touch with Tauscher; I suggest alluded, because he was very coy about it.

Taylor was drafted in 2007, so there is a chance TT had him on his draft board at the time. Just because he doesn't draft 'em doesn't mean he forgets about 'em.
