Not a good quote to put out there, and maybe it's rubbing MM the wrong way that Finley appears as if he might just be wanting a rest. I'm sure most if not all players do, but that's the coach's call, and it appears that Finley may have pushed to get himself this off day, and that's what's irking MM.
This is what I thought he was trying to do. And if he had mentioned it Monday or come in for extra treatment Tuesday, then we may never had heard a peep.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Maybe he didn't think of this excuse until Wednesday when he woke up.

(OK Brandon494, make your obligatory sarcastic comment. I wrote this just for you.)

Hopefully he doesn't have the bilateral leg weakness that Joe Mauer got.

Picture not brighter after this Tweet:

Finley said left knee "fatigued." @jasonjwilde asked if it'd be smart to sit Sun: "Of course ... but I ain't the head coach or the GM."

          Tweet was from yesterday.

Let Finley drop cups of gatorade on the sideline Sunday.

They're going to make him block all day.

Oh my. The media might be on a witch hunt, but Finley is making it easy for them with this type of shit.

Context is King though. Though ellipses could spell trouble. He practiced today, btw.

Finley's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon Lambeau Field
And then is heard no more: his is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
                    Signifying nothing.

I think Finley was just trying to recover from another late night out with the Musky Queen.

                      I can't run no more
                      With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
                      Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
                      A thundercloud

Just go ahead and name her "Miss Wisconsin".

(as long as she always carries around that big musky)

Hopefully Finley recovers from his tired hands soon.

Where I come from "musky" is an earthy, dank smell and "muskie" is a fish. So our queen above apparently smells earthy and moist - but does she smell like a fish, too?

Gramps once told me, "Ain't but two things in this world that smell like fish. One of them's fish."

I miss ole Gramps. But he should be out in 2013, I can hardly wait.
