  • The Top 30 Young Players In The NFC North

Young, being under 30. Packers have 11--according to a Chicago beat writer. And he has Clay Matthews as the 8th best player in the division--behind Jay Cutler. (He also has Cutler or Matthew Stafford.)

The writer was actually a beat writer for the Vikings for a long time.

The Packers have 11 - Aaron Rodgers (1st), Greg Jennings (5th), Clay Matthews (8th), Jordy Nelson (10th), B.J. Raji (16th), Tramon Williams (17th), Jermichael Finley (18th), Josh Sitton (20th), Desmond Bishop (23rd), Bryan Bulaga (24th), Mason Crosby (27th),

The Lions have 8 - Calvin Johnson (2nd), Matthew Stafford (5th), Ndamukong Suh (7th), Cliff Avril (11th), Chris Houston (19th), Brandon Pettigrew (21st), Stephen Tulloch (22nd), Louis Delmas (30th)

The Bears have 6 - Jay Cutler (4th), Matt Forte (9th), Devin Hester (13th), Henry Melton (15th), Stephen Paea (26th), Johnny Knox (28th)

And the Vikings have 5 - Adrian Peterson (3rd), Percy Harvin (12th), Chad Greenway (14th), John Sullivan (25th), Brian Robison (29th).
If Nick Collins comes back, he'd be among the group. He's still only 28.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

And he was being kind to the Vikings--as it's hard to believe John Sullivan and Brian Robison deserve to be on this list. I'd take T.J. Lang over Sullivan.

Finish your post, who should be ahead of him?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Too high for a white WR?

Over BJ Raji and Tramon Williams though?

Tough call. I value both CB and DT more than WR, but Nelson has been having a better year. By a lot, though Williams have been better the longer he stays healthy. I could see swapping any of the three between 10 and 18.

And the writer said Matthews would miss double digit sacks for the third consecutive year. Somebody isn't doing their homework... :\
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.
