I heard in a previous game players are not allowed to go to the ground in a celebration. If true, he was on the ground, celebrating - 15 yrds. The commentators were discussing it in leau of people taking the "Thank you, Lord" knee after a TD. This action has now been officially entered into the American-English language as "Tebowing", BTW.

I call bullshit. Harlan has been "Tebowing" in men's restrooms since the 80's.Originally posted by Tarlam! By the rules it was a 15 yrd penalty. For what its worth it is a dumb penatly. Celebrations are awesome and fun. It is good to celebrate greatness and provides incentive to little timmy to try harder not to get beat next time. Up in the CFL you can celebrate as a group and have seen some awesome ones. The best was when a team of wr's celebrated like a bobsled team. It was hilarious (and the only thing of worth that horrible evil team has ever done. they are like the vikings to a packer fan.)All tyrannies rule through fraud and force, but once the fraud is exposed they must rely exclusively on force.

I have trouble with where the line should be drawn. I agree, Cruz' dance and ARods belt, hell the Lambeau Leap are all good I think. Pulling out a cell phone or Sharpy are over the top. Tough to draw the line.Originally posted by Upnorth View PostBy the rules it was a 15 yrd penalty. For what its worth it is a dumb penatly. Celebrations are awesome and fun. Pereira tweeted after the game, in response to a Packerfan Tweet that it applies even when already on the ground. Expectation is that you are supposed to get up.Originally posted by Smidgeon View PostI thought the rule was against "going to the ground to celebrate" not "celebrating when you're already on the ground"...
#NoFunLeagueBud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
