Anyone else concerned that the Bears and Vikings are making competent moves at the top. The Vikings are giving control to a talent evaluator, and the Bears stated that they need more talent and are going to get a guy to get it for them. A couple of good drafts and sound FA's and these teams will be dangerous. (I know the Bears could still hire an idiot, but I haven't heard them interviewing Millen).

The guy the Vikings hired to be in charge of personnel isn't actually good at his job (he was the GM for the Dolphins in the Wannstadt era), so you can take heart in that.

He is also widely viewed to have panicked when Locker went off the board early compared to conventional wisdom and took Ponder when no viable backup plan was available. That left a hole in the roster that allowed Frazier to fill with McNabb. So its not all smooth sailing there, even if the org structure makes more sense.

The Bears need to hire two people (or more). Plenty of time to screw it up.

The Raiders don't have a fricking draft pick til round five of this year and are without a couple picks in 2013. They are the anti TT and out of control.

So Reggie inherits a team with an unproven coach who is outspoken, thinks the world of himself, and has pissed many of the draft picks away. It will be a challenging ride

Rumors earlier were Reggie would try to take Eliot Wolf as well with him
Hopefully TT moves fast to give Dorsey and/or Wolf more power so they stay.

I think Philbin has a shot and I'd be fine if he goes....perhaps I'm seeing if the coaching whammy works....

Guessing Dorsey gets promoted (and that's why he rejected the Colts interview). Also hoping Wolf gets promoted to Dorsey's spot too.

TT inherited a shitty situation. The ex-GM still in a position of authority, cap hell etc. But he had draft picks! What a double shitty situation for Mac. At least he will have an increase in warm weather days!

BTW, it must be true, the Packers have removed his name from the Official Front Office "roster".
