Besides, Wells really wasn't that good as a guard. Better run blocker than Klemm was, but probably not as good in pass protection as Klemm. He stuck in the starting lineup because they needed to try and get the running game going, and it worked to some extent.

Here's a major problem with the info age --PERSPECTIVE!

Maybe some of you are cracker-jack right out of the box, but for most of us, it takes a while. We have good days, we have not so good days, especially early on. But just because we have a bad day or three does not mean you throw us on the scrap heap for cripes sake!

Honestly, haven't any of you gone through a learning process where it didn't come together immediately? But it did eventually, and then you were pretty friggin good. That happened to Wahle, and I'd say that it happened to Favre. And it may yet happen to Moll.

There's a little something I call a Vodka & Tonic that can make this waiting period quite pleasant. I recommend it to you all. Except for that smart young dude on here who is wise beyond his years.

        Noodle,

It is hard to logically argue against you.

Ah, don't let logic get in the way, mate, just fire away!

And I don't mean to sound like some Budda figure or a Mr. Obvious -- forums exist so that we can blast away. But I worry that we get too much granular information without any broader perspective. It's easy to see who got beat in a drill, but not easy to see if the beat guy is improving, made a correctible mistake or, like me, just blows.

Anyways, back to my vodka tonic.

            Noodle, hats off to ya.

Granular perspective. Konsberg cocktail. Budda. You pulled it all together mate!

So, are you that guy who seems to be able to maintain a plesant state of drunkeness for extended periods of time? Personally, I can't. I have a really good time for about 4-5 hours, then fall asleep

I think Moll did a fine job last night and has won the starting job.

Hopefully they move Cooledge to backup LT, because the 2nd team LT looked shakey (didn't catch his name.) Clifton is on shakey legs. Groom Cooledge, Clifton will be injured or retired before too long.
