  • Meet "VINNY"...........future OLB Stud

Not sure if this is the guy I'll profess to be the next Brooks Reed........but here's a guy I think will outperform where he's drafted...my guess......round two

TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Curry is the guy I've been think of as the Packers 2nd round pick. Fletcher Cox in the 1st.

And with a Bretsky draft thread the off season is officially here.

I would be happy with those picks as well.

yup, curry is someone that i have been looking at for a few weeks now

he seems to have that certain nastiness to him that i would love to have on the team

although i have seen some mocks that do have him falling to us in the second, i'm really worried about him not lasting that long

Stop taking the Packer Pills; IMO this is a guy who is going in the top 45 picks. Said the same thing about Brooks Reed last year. Everybody said nab him at end of round two because he was not worthy of a 1st round pick. I say bullshit......... Some said trade down or trade up from round two........I can buy into that. I just don't think he's there at pick 56.

This dude has intensity; he showed some great flashes at the Senior Bowl. Seems to have a great first step getting off the ball. Love the intensity and motor.....lots of natural ability. Looks like a football player.

I will keep reading and searching; not endorsing the dude fully yet but he sure has looked like a playa in what I've found so far

You may be right. We'll see what happens at the Combine. Keep in mind though that this may be a stronger draft than last year with a record number of underclassmen declaring. That could push a guy like Curry down further than where Brooks was picked last year.

DraftTek.com, which breaks down their rankings based on the type of defense a team plays, has Curry ranked 7th among 3-4 OLB's. http://drafttek.com/2012-NFL-Draft-P...utside-LBs.asp Hopefully, it's a strong year at that position, which was not the case last year.

Every time I hear about some underclassman from the offensive side of the ball declare, I get warm and fuzzy.

My rationale being it pushes defensive talent down the board. Is this faulty logic on my part? I feel like I am missing something......

George, if their is a team which values that players offensive abilities over other players defensive abilities then it is not flawed. The only scary part is if these players turn into the BPA when TT is drafting and our first three rounds go WR, TE and RB.

If Bretsky falls in love with this guy, his chances of bombing out increase. If I follow suit with the same guy, his chances of bombing out increase exponentially.
