Besides, Grant is gone/done, Starks is overrated/injured often & Green had a bad injury last season. We got nothing in the back field.

The 2 injured backs not put on IR averaged 4 ypc. for Green Bay last season. That's not overrated in my book. And even if it was, given the offense we run I'd find it hard to justify paying 3.5 million yearly to a guy who maybe, maybe, would get 15 touches per game. Starks and Green can give us everything we absolutely need out of our run game and they hardly cost us anything.

I'll tell you about disappointment and being a Packer fan. I've had that 'up to the Yip Yoo', for way too many seasons. My loyalty to OUR team goes back over half a century. So please forgive me if I seem a might bit discompasionate over any whining as I'm assured giving my experience and wisdom. You'll get over it. If you don't...God Bless yaa.

Ohh I suffered alot as a Green Bay Packer fan. The total experience has ben just awesome...wonderful. The very best part of that total experience has been my participation and LOVE for PACKERRATS.

Once upon a time as a Packer fan I would get disappointed as I observed my team and Free Agency. Many of my fellow Packerrats are aware of that truth. Now... I really take it more in stride. I enjoy Free Agency as I'm a total NFL fan as well.

I've learned it is what it is; will be what it will be.

IMO it's 'balance and a positive attitude; avoiding cynics, aggressive non productive people. Avoid troublemakers and anyone that will twist your will.

I noticed that the Packers signing of ** Cornerback Jarrett Bush isn't recorded in this NFL team transaction period.

I'll do my best to keep you up to date on any FA ACTION. The weather has been amazing in Honey Harbour, Ontario (75-77 Degrees F) and SUNNY! I've been working my butt off doing yard work so aplogize for not being totally on the ball as things happen.

It's been a busy week of FAcy so far. Loads of excitement in this NFL off Season.

Is there any particular reason the Packers are not making any big moves in free agency?

"It’s because they have discipline.

They have strong beliefs and they are disciplined in their adherence to those beliefs.

I’m glad they are the way they are because it dovetails with what I believe, and that allows me to answer these questions from my heart.

I believe in the draft. I believe free agency can be used in its more affordable stages to find a gem here and there, but it should always be secondary to the draft in a team’s pursuit of talent.

Football is a game of replacement, not maintenance. It’s a young man’s game.

Good personnel departments challenge themselves to find new talent to develop.

They don’t fill their roster full of players the competition didn’t want.
