{ilr]3]The only reason I hope the Dolphins succeed is because I am sick and tired of hearing about the Patriots and all there greatness even though they harldy win a game by a convincing margin and have never won a superbowl where they were the certainly the better team, only the team who happened to score last.
I just hope I dont have to see to much of that lame ass barrel roll that cullpepper does. I saw they even put that in Madden 2007 video game. Horrible stuff!
Speaking of the barrel roll, I saw Viking rookie QB Tarvaris Jackson doing the same bit Monday night. Hopefully that doesn't continue. I have nothing against Daunte personally, but never could stand that damn barrel roll.

It's fun to make predictions, but not so much when all you do is predict more of the same. Which is basically what the "experts" do. They pick pretty much the same teams to make the playoffs as the previous year, and then they pick one or two "sleeper" teams which, yes, are mostly based on highly overrated FA acquisitions. Last year, it was Arizona and Oakland. Oh yeah, and the Vikings and Eagles were the most frequently cited contenders for the NFC Super Bowl representative. This year, we are hearing Miami, and maybe Dallas and Arizona again.
In many cases it's safe for the experts to make these lame prognostications; often it's laziness. It's easy to say a team is going to be better for some simple reason like a major FA acquisition without doing a lot of analysis.
But I guess that's what makes the NFL so great. No one knows what's gonna happen. Least of all the experts.
I don't think this line of thinking existed anywhere on this board in the first few days of April when free agency started. Now in regards to Arrington, Bentley TT is laughing at the experts.
No Mo -- what's wrong with Arrington, other than the fact that he was overpaid?

Knee cartilidge, I think. Rumor has it his knees won't hold up and that he's finished.

Since you brought up Jackson I thought I would comment on that.
Anyone else think the Vikings have found there next star QB? Man that guy can scramble and throw a nice soft touch and gets the long ball down the field. Fans seemed to take to him pretty fast as well. Of course being Vikings fans I am sure they will turn on him in a heartbeat. Didnt see him do the barrel roll. If I had I am sure my impression of him probably would have been more negative! Common kid, think of something of your own and make sure it doesnt suck!
