I wouldn't hate it, but I'd really like to land a frame guy if we draft a DE in the first. We've got a whole lot of technique guys with less than ideal frames (which is what Worthy would be), and literally no frame guys who need to work on technique.

I'd rather have Brockers, Still, Cox, and Reyes than Worthy.

I think Worthy can be a good player, but his best position (and high board) should be at the 3-tech spot.

I thought there was another lineman from there but it turns out it was only Korey Hall. I agree if this kid is the pick he would be OLB, but listed in college as DE.

For all the mock drafts that we will forget about 25 hours after the first round.

But for now, the replacement at Pro Football Weekly for the dearly departed shut in Joel Buschbaum, Nolan Nawrocki has the Packers taking Andre Branch at 28.

I just noticed the Patriots sitting at 27 ahead of the Pack with New Orleans pick. Odds on Ted wanting to get in front of them?

The odds on TT moving to a higher position to secure a certain defensive player is too difficult for me to even consider.

Instead I'm looking at positions #25 through #29 to see which players may more likely be available; the cost to move to #25 (the Denver Broncos pick) from our #28 pick to get that player.

The numerical value of pick #25 (Denver Broncos) is 720 and the Packers #28 pick at 660. The difference = 60.

To move to pick #25. Ted Thompson would have to offer his 4th round pick #123 (value 49) and 6th round pick at #197 (value 12.6); have the Broncos accept it. TT would still have 10 picks with all else remaining the same.

We may speculate on what TT may do 'till the cows come in'. I'm confident that he will do what's exactly necessary for our team.

Comment woodbuck27: IMO this DT will be available close to our #28 pick but if TT covets him he may have to trade up. Jerel Worthy is a real possibility as our next draft pick.

It would be quite fascinating to see how he's got those set up and separated. Still wouldn't mean a lot to me since I don't really watch college ball. But it's be fascinating nonetheless.
