Worthy and Perry have more upside. We need impact players on defense.

      • He sounds well suited to zone. if the first write up is to be believed. Lack elite speed and opens hips too fast to compensate.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

upshaw and curry play the same position, so, no on that tandem

i really see c-wood moving back to take over for collins. t-will and shields are your 2 starters and house and the new kid battling for the nickle and dime spots while bush waits behind them for his chance to get in the game to fuck up a play

On a Badger note, any reason why Konz lasted all the way to #55 to ATL?? Happy that Zeitler got picked in 1st rd, but I thought Konz was a sure thing 1st rounder? Sorry if I'm a little behind. Haven't been keeping a ton of attention on the usual draft hype...started a new job this week.

We still have 2 untradable compensatory picks in rd 4 right??
Hey Packer fan..how's life? TT is killing it. Having a solid draft.

21(53)BengalsStill, DevonDT6'5"303Penn St.84.2Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "The Bengals need a big body behind Geno Atkins who can come in and play on run downs. A lot of people thought a year ago that Still would be a top-20 pick, but his tape is indifferent and inconsistent."
22(54)LionsBroyles, RyanWR5'10"192Oklahoma79.0Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "The bad news for Detroit is that you don't know how quickly he's going to be available. I gave him a solid second-round grade before he tore his ACL late in the season at Oklahoma. He's a quick, fast, tough-as-nails slot receiver who can provide value in the return game. But you don't know when you'll get him. They're going to have to be patient."
23(55)FalconsKonz, PeterC6'5"314Wisconsin86.0Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "Another one of those plug-and-play offensive lineman who is coached so well. The only downside is that not once in three years did he complete a season without missing a game, so injury has to be a concern. But I think he starts Day 1 in Atlanta."
24(56)SteelersAdams, MikeOT6'7"323Ohio St.86.0Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "He would've been a first-round pick had he not failed the drug test at the combine. He's got left-tackle feet. There's some off-the-field issues, but he's a gifted left tackle. Now with him and David DeCastro in the first round, this is a completely different offensive line."
25(57)BroncosOsweiler, BrockQB6'7"242Arizona State83.5Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "He's a little bit of a project, which makes sense to have him training, interning, behind Peyton Manning and John Elway. He's very raw but with significant upside. Despite the fact that he's started just 15 games, you can see the skill set. He's got a big arm, maybe the best in the draft this year. If I'm Osweiler, I've got a big grin on my face being drafted into this situation in Denver."
26(58)Buccaneers (From Texans)David, LavonteOLB6'1"233Nebraska86.5Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "If I was Adam Hayward I'd be a little nervous right now. This kid flies."
27(59)Eagles (From Packers)Curry, VinnyDE6'3"266Marshall84.5Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "I really believe this is a pick by the Eagles where they say, he's too good, forget what our needs are. He's got a motor. He's going to get hustle sacks and play tough against the run."
28(60)RavensOsemele, KelechiT6'5"333Iowa St.83.0Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "Another guy I really liked in this draft. I'm guessing he's the kind of player John Harbaugh likes. He's a phone-booth offensive guard. I don't think he can live on the outside."
29(61)49ersJames, LaMichaelRB5'8"194Oregon73.5Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "Keep in mind he's a third-down change-of-pace guy, who can hit you a home run. The 49ers didn't generate a lot of yards on offense, and this guy gives them the ability to hit a home run from anywhere in the park."
30(62)Packers (From Patriots)Hayward, CaseyDB5'11"185Vanderbilt73.7Pick Analysis: Mayock's take: "He's one of the most instinctive corners in this draft. After Morris Claiborne, Hayward has the best ball skills of any of the corners in this draft. I love this pick for the Packers."

                          • Hey woody! Hope all is well with you! Life's looking pretty good right now. Started a promising new job and the Packers are going D, D, D!! After last year, it was needed. Now time to look for solid backups on the O-line. Maybe even sneak someone like a Kirk Cousins from Mich. State at backup maybe??
