For those who are skeptical of the Daniels pick, Cullen Jenkins was undrafted in 2003 for the same concerns. The exact same concerns.

Definitely some parallels there.

I love the focus on getting pressure on the QB. A huge change last year that made both Shields and Williams look worse was the lack of any QB pressure.

Our 2 DL are gap shooters. Our OLB is an all around outside pass rusher. Something tells me our ability to get after the QB is going to be a little better.

I think there is a myth that 3-4 DL shouldn't get after the QB.

It's mostly a joke since the guys we drafted are perceived by the media to be "better fits in the 4-3" since the mental image of the 3-4 is the 2-gap, run-stuffing system that Hank Bullough ran in the 80s, so you want tall, long, stout guys.

Our base defense is the 2-4-5 nickel anyway.

-their pro day was poorly attended, he was nervous after it, didn't think there was interest

-agent is Abu Topman (?)

Saying a lot of good things, came off very humble, happy to be drafted and still playing football.

I don't trust pro day numbers, he ran a 4.56 at the combine but had a 36.5 vertical which was top 5 for safeties in this draft.
