The guy seems like an asswipe in that he is just so damn valuable to the team!
Isnt it against NFL rules for the team to demote someone for not showing up for voluntary practices? I assume thats why he hasnt been told why and there is so much beating around the bush on the situation.

I think from what I've read, the players are mostly on his side. Best case scenario for us is to have Grossman have another poor game and for Griese to have a good game. The more controversey the bears have, the better I feel!Comment

That situation in Chicago is rather wild , in my view. Thomas Jones locked out of the starting RB spot in favor of Cedric Benson (now injured) after the way Thomas jones has come through since he became a BEAR.
