Those were awesome. I love the first one with Ray sitting down and sipping water out of the Dixie Cup. I can't believe Lombardi let him goldbrick like that.Originally posted by pbmax View PostGreat shots of the '62 team in a scrimmage at what is now Clark Hinkle Field.

Confronted with that problem, Lombardi would have screamed at the next rookie that took too long getting a drink. He was pretty good at artfully displacing rage so he didn't have to yell at Nitschke or Starr.Originally posted by George Cumby View PostThose were awesome. I loved looking at those pictures. Lambeau Field hadn't yet acquired the green cladding that I remember from my boyhood. I was surprised to see that the Brown County Arena had already been built by '62.
Was 80 Boyd Dowler or was that before his time?[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

That is a sick number.Originally posted by Kiwon View Post55,000 for a scrimmage? The rest of league has to be JEALOUS!
Great scene.
But I'm still smarting over last season's playoff loss after such a dominant regular season........
Put yourself on reset with a fat joint and get over that shit. New season, new day and I really like the Packs chances.

80 was a young rookie WR named Gary Barnes.Originally posted by swede View PostConfronted with that problem, Lombardi would have screamed at the next rookie that took too long getting a drink. He was pretty good at artfully displacing rage so he didn't have to yell at Nitschke or Starr.

Boyd was #86 for his GBP career.

Is your older child named Bretsky?Originally posted by JustinHarrell View PostYou can't go wrong with any of those. Cheesevader gets the edge for me. The kids love starwars. My little one would freak out to get a cheesevader cheese head. My older one is a Giants fan.
And about that photo, what event was it and when does it fall next year?Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Did I just see Swede has me quoted? Brings a tear to my eye I'm so honored to have said something worthwhile in my life..."I would love to have a guy that always gets the key hit, a pitcher that always makes his best pitch and a manager that can always make the right decision. The problem is getting him to put down his beer and come out of the stands and do those things." - Danny Murraugh
