Well, I've beat this horse to death, but I'll take one more kick. All of the beach volleyball players were hot, I mean, what's not to like about athletic women in bikinis? But the real cuties were younger, and they were all relatively poor volleyball players. If you look at the teams that played for medals, 7 of the 8 women were over 30. The 7 foot chinese blocker was the exception. (not quite 7 feet, but a big girl indeed.)

What I learned is that beach volleyball is a very tactical game. All those women can smack it, smack it good. The greatest players, Misty May and the shorter chinese woman, are good at faking shots, visualizing the court, and uncannily dropping the ball exactly where it needs to be. Also it is obviously a game of nerves. So the players get better as they mature past their physical primes.

The real prime pussy, the younger brazilian team, the Czechs, the Russian blocker from heaven, all wilted under pressure. I wish I could have been there to comfort and encourage them in their moments of distress.
