Well, ever since that one fuckface fucking fucker of a fucktard fucked up a decade and a half of gameday thread starting tradition, I felt the only correct thing to do was to simply stop the obligatory posts, which logically meant also halting my reminders to start the damn game day thread.

But I'm not bitter.

After starting the Game Day Thread last week, I think I'm banned for life.

I don't really wanna make my obligatory game day posts anymore but am compelled to check for the "official" game day thread because maybe I still really do.

I still want the game day thread posted early but I realize as a matter of practicality that y'all bastards can't really be relied upon to be so attentive to detail and punctual.

I would just start the game day threads myself but I was told I was too cool for that. It seems very beneath me, very secretarial (or administrative assistant if you wanna be a dick about it) and besides, I'm a captain. I deserve my own secretary.

Speaking of secretarial, If I were hiring someone to assist me with... well whatever assistance I needed with my administration on a daily basis... and the resumes were sorted, interviews conducted, and HR gives the 'ol "thumbs up" - then which of these two candidates would you choose?

Fun facts:

My dad grew up in Northern Korea before there WAS a North or South Korea during the Japanese occupation. Not too far from the Chosin Reservoir. Fled to the South with the family after the end of WW II. He was in Inchon when MacArthur pulled the end around and was with the Seventh ID in Hagaru as an interpreter when we pulled out of the North.
