Good to hear, Tyler has zero potential IMO.

I sort of expected it would be Bostick, the TE who would be released, only because they have only one healthy RB plus Kuhn. Starks is out, Green is still limited and I'm not sure what the deal is with Saine. He was hurt, but isn't on the injury report right now.

That said, I was very surprised they signed Tyler in the first place. He didn't fit any category TT generally draws from. He actually seemed to do better than I expected, but my expectations for him were very low.

From the active roster. They're releasing Tyler from the practice squad to put Ross there.
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

Good heavens. I'm a very busy, important man. Why is this forum wasting my time with news of practice squad churning?

Tyler almost made me forget about Noah Herron.

                    A. Walden came back
                    B. House is coming back really well from his shoulder injury
                    C. Starks is getting healthier
                    D. Mark Tyler isn't that good

I think all three of these things may play in to the decision.

Tyler was awesome for taking a pounding in the preseason when we didn't really have any available running backs. Dude was a guaranteed 1-2 yards!

Not a bad move....we need CBs more than we need slow RBs.

                          It's slow, like 4.7 - 4.8 megaseconds slow.

Tyler sure wasn't his daddy, that's for sure.

Marc Tyer is Wendell Tyler's son. Wendell was a great NFL RB, Marc is a slow, plodding journeyman.
