  • GameDay Thread on Twitter?

Anyone beside Mad and advertising execs think it would be a good idea to put a link to the Game Day thread on Twitter?

Kiwon already put a post and link on the PackerRat Twitter timeline but we could also put this out to the Packer hashtag. There are a ton of people who post to it, not sure how many read it. Might draw some traffic in. Also might need to have a moderator on stand by.

What do you think? More people screaming and yelling at Bush, Hawk and Finley during the game or should we just link to the forum?

More importantly, if this idea crashes, burns and the Packers lose, who do we blame more, me or Thunder Dan?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I guess I have to start paying attention to this Twitter thingee. Been patently ignoring it since the get-go, but if some of the other Ludites around there (I'm looking at you, Patler!) are paying attention, I guess I can as well

It would be nice if it revitalised the game day threads. They seem to have gone downhill the last couple of seasons, not gathering the number of posts they once did. At one point they were so busy you could sit in front of the TV with your laptop and use the posts as the colour commentary!

I usually don't post in the game day threads. We remodeled our office and moved my desktop up there instead of in the basement by the TV. I use to post a lot back when the comptuer was downstairs. Tonight I am going to see if I can grab my wife's laptop and post while watching.

If we lose of course it is PB's fault now.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

I think it's a good idea. Twitter might bring in some insightful people who didn't know we were even here. Maybe.
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.

Time to get a tablet. Nothing quite like checking your FF players, posting on PR, surfing porn and playing solitaire all while sitting on your couch watching football.

I might have to check into that.

Dunno. Some sort of naked lady site I guess. Which ones aren't?
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Your comment led me to believe that there surely must be a "twatter", so I checked out http://www.twatter.com . This is the social network where packerrats belongs.

After lunch the players lounged about the hotel patio watching the surf fling white plumes high against the darkening sky. Clouds were piling up in the west… Vince Lombardi frowned.

I like how you are arguing with someone from PackersReport. You are arguing right? Kinda hard to tell when you dont got shit slinging marksmen like Harlan stirring the pot.
