You have a lot more faith in those guys than I do then...

I didn't watch the game - followed along on the radio and the gametracker online, will sit down and watch the game throughout this week. That said, I knew last week what the initial game plan should have been, i.e. short passing game out of the gate and adjust from there. 8 sacks in the 1st half alone?? That's moronic.

The OL is pathetic, and McCarthy will keep doing the same old thing expecting different results - that adds up to a long season.

We get a reprieve next week when we face the hapless Saints defense - so, McCarthy will come out with his bombs away game plan and it will probably work; but when we have to go back to facing legit NFL calibur defenses, it will be more of what we've been seeing.

I have no faith in this coaching staff, on either side of the ball to make the necessary adjustments. McCarthy is a good coach, but he has an MO, and adjusting on the fly is not something he is known for. To be sure he will abandon the run at the drop of a hat, but tweaking what he attempting to do in the passing game?? He'll allow 8 sacks in the first half before admitting, "hey, I guess this isn't working".

Leave it to Wist to be negative in the positive thread.

Ya know, in the weirdest, most fucked up way possible. I actually feel really good about this team right now. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks. We've got a fairly easy schedule.

Easy schedule? Predict the Packers record then...we're 1-2! The MNF fuckup is one thing, add Stubbyness, pussy receivers & a [TT] OL that couldn't protect a giant cave troll from LOTR.

I would use my mighty claymore on the troll.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Admittedly, I had not looked at the whole schedule, but they showed the Packers next 6 games last night and 4 of those are against the Saints, Colts, Jags, and Rams. Then we can be competitive with Houston and Arizona. I can see us winning 5 of next 6.

Ced Ben is for real. He can run hard and we need to feed him the rock 8-10 time a half.
Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

You the man, channtheman! So we're 7-3 after 10 weeks of play! Then we play the rest of the NFC North; are U telling me we can't beat them? WTF!?

Our awesome four best WR's look like horseshit though. Are we unable to get open anymore ? Man, last year we thought nobody could cover our top four and our TE and this year defenses are getting coverage sacks. I don't know what the hell is going on there
Its hard to get open when defenders are clutching, grabbing and knocking WRs on their keister past 5 yards.

We beat the Saints, Jags, Rams, and Texans. 4-1 last 5 games. Should take care of Arizona this week. 1 more win to a correct prediction!

Improved secondary play is also contributing to sacks.
