If the Packers want to make a statement, tell the fans to NOT WATCH THE GAMES.

Listen on the radio...but make the TV ratings PLUNGE.

That is the NFL's golden goose. If the fans threaten that, the league will listen.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

Actually the NFLPA may solve the problem. They have made a statement saying that if these replacement officials continue to disregard player safety, allow games to get out of control and have cheap shots going unflagged (therefore encouraging cheap shots), then players may seek remedy.

        [QUOTE=mraynrand;687181)
They had better snap out of it and get ready for NO, or the whole season goes in the shitter. Huge test for Stubby here, getting the team ready.[/QUOTE]

I think MM needs to take the team back to the shooting range for some good ol fashioned stress relief.

We all know that Breese has been one of the most vocal and high profile players to criticize the NFL and Gooddell. I would LOVE IT if the two teams got together and agreed to do only kneel downs for each 1st possession. Then play the game. Hell, the whole league could do that. It takes an act of courage to do this sort of thing, but such is the substance of legend......

Time for the team to rally, get resolved, put some steel in their spine and kick ass for the rest of the season just to shove it up Goodell's ginger rimmed anal vault.
BUT they did enough right to actually win the fucking game.

Sure the O-line had a rough night, but part of that is their defense. Part of it is stupid play calling. Neither of which change the fact that they adjusted at the half and did enough to win on the road against a team that's a playoff contender.

coulda shoulda woulda's are always the difference in wining, losing, and blowing someone out by more than 2 scores.

This is a pretty good idea.

I would much rather view the scenario unfold in which Seattle winds up in GB for a playoff game at the end of this season.

This is a great idea. If all 32 teams did that? That would be amazing.......

                      Now, back to reality.

                        Thank you!

The idea that they deserved to lose because they let the game stay close is just wrong. Most games are won by 1 score or less.

And the fact that the Seahawks got 8 sacks in the first half is not an excuse for the call being ok either. I hear people saying "but they got 8 sacks in the first half". So what!? They did. And then Green Bay came out and flat out dominated the second half. Seattle couldn't get anywhere without the help of questionable penalties in the 2nd half. Their first first down of the second half came on the roughing call against Walden. They got 2 chances at the end of the game because of shitty penalties. They had Seattle pinned back in a first and 30 that got wiped out because of the ridiculous call against Shields. Ok, so he had a tiny bit of jersey but he was getting accosted!

That leads me to another idea: do these refs know OPI? Because it sure seems like they didn't on Monday night.

I would love it. And maybe they threaten to kneel down 1 extra series each week until the dispute gets resolved. I could see Rodgers and Brees working this out but it might be hard to get some other teams on board.
