Cheerleaders

I know the Packers don’t have official Cheerleaders and from what I am aware of they still allow/invite the U of W cheerleaders to home games. But, if anyone knows I have a few questions...

How long has it been since GB had official Cheerleaders?

I heard it was because of Women share holders voicing there disapproval of Cheerleaders that the team did away with them?

It really isn’t something I have spent much time thinking about, but does anyone think the team should bring them back?

Disgrace

It's a disgrace along with public humiliation that we don't have a cheerleader squad. I say bring them back at all costs! Nothing better in the world to look at than a hot girl with green and gold pom poms cheering our beloved Pack on.

I can remember going to games years ago when there were cheerleaders, but I think they were from St. Norberts College, UW Green Bay or area high schools. Unfortunately, they were all just a tad on the stocky side, nothing like you see for other teams.

But I could definitly see the Packers having a cheerleader program like other teams have. It just adds a touch of class & entertainment to the games that seems to be missing in Lambeau.

C'mon, it does'nt get THAT cold until mid-Dec. If the Bears cheerleaders can tough out the cold, I'm sure ours would have no problem.

Of course they need a full time squad. That way you can most likely be assured that all of the girls are at minimum, 18 yrs old. When they have the local high school c-leadrs come in, it's kind of hard to really leer and adore them when they under 18
