They were looking at a near mutiny if they fined those players. Especially if they fined the reigning MVP.Originally posted by George Cumby View Posthttp://blogs.greenbaypressgazette.co...ckers-players/
IMO a tacit admission by the league that the Pack won. This is as close to an apology as we will get. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro ~Hunter S.

On the other hand, it was reported that the league has never fined a player for something posted via social media so long as it was posted outside the "silent period" they have mandated before, during and after games. This would have been a horrible instance for their first ever fine in those circumstances.

The NFL just wants this whole embarrassing issue to go away. Fining the players would have kept the issue in the news.I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Good knowledge. I was unaware of this.Originally posted by Patler View PostOn the other hand, it was reported that the league has never fined a player for something posted via social media so long as it was posted outside the "silent period" they have mandated before, during and after games.
