  • James Jones Has a Broken Bone In Foot

    http://blogs.greenbaypressgazette.co...yssey=obinsite

Jones was reported to have revealed the broken bone at a talk he was giving at UW-Oshkosh. Packers have characterized it as foot soreness. The Patriots would have denied any lower extremity trauma.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Could be a "stress fracture", whatever that is.

I'm guessing there isn't a bone sticking out of his foot.

Nah, they aren't even that forthcoming.
They would have denied the existence of any lower extremity.
They might have even denied the existence of James Jones.

You're a tough guy with other peoples injuries, aren't you?

That reminds me of teams switching jerseys to confuse the opposition. Three things to bring back:

          1. Stickum
          2. Tear away jerseys
          3. Swapping numbers during the game

            add as you see fit:

            1. Stickum
            2. Tear away jerseys
            3. Swapping numbers during the game[/QUOTE]
            4. Sideline hotdogs
            5. Howard Cosell

Not to start a discussion of "He who shall not be named" but if Jones could get the same attention, we could have a game or series of games where the announcers keep saying "And Jones is playing with a BROKEN BONE IN HIS FOOT" "Holy Mackerel! He's got a broken bone and he's still playing" "add some NFL films music and maybe a poem from Deanna, and you have an enduring legend....

I don't know what that means, I'm channeling letterman

There you go again, Blue Dog, taking something that is awesome and turning it into something that is, well, unawesome.

A rare talent, to be sure.

Well, he's averaging a TD per game. Keep that up, and he'll make the pro bowl. He's tied for league lead in TDs right now and only Gronk had more than 1 receiving TD per game. So I'll take the point scoring that Jones is doing.

In other news, why the hell can't the receivers get yards?
No longer the member of any fan clubs. I'm tired of jinxing players out of the league and into obscurity.
