In a funny way, that play explains Harrel's fumble. That reverse handoff turn is designed to give the defense a bad read on the run game, because they can't count on the QB movement to tell them who gets the ball OR which way its going in.

The reason for that is the FB could get the ball on the first quarter of the turn. And score a TD!

I was thinking the same. The screen game looks better, too.

I'm sure Luck sees two lineman and changes to run

Blitz and man coverge worked. Shields is just hellaciously fast.

Gotta love a super fast CB who can cover the WR across the whole field on a crossing route.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

That Seattle game may have made them re-imagine the offense a bit.

Sitton and Lang were both down there doing work.

I barely recognize Hawk from the back. ANd I think Freeney stunted and nearly took Rodgers for a ride with Lang who he was manhandling.

They should put that block of Freeney by Lang on a loop for Newhouse. Lang was losing the entire time but held on and stayed with him. The simple fact that his body was between Freeney and Rodgers allowed that pass to be completed.

Benson just took a shot to the head.
