It's up to SLOCUM to turn this season around

No, not with special teams. Have you noticed that he is often the coach standing next to MM on the sidelines? As MM scans his sheets for the next play call, Slocum should be whispering in MM's ear any and all of the following:

"Run, run, run the ball."
"Screen pass."
"Slant."
"Delay."
"Run."
"Three step drop."
"Take what they give you."

Yup, the season rides on Slocum's shoulders.

He needs to fix his kicker first. But otherwise, I am on board.
