FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports Packers FS Charles Woodson will miss six weeks with a fractured collarbone.

Although Woodson's on-field performance has declined in his age-36 season, the Packers figure to keep him on their weekly inactives list rather than place the future Hall of Famer on year-ending injured reserve. Despite the fall-off in play from recent years, Woodson has graded out positively as a pass defender and particularly as a run defender according to Pro Football Focus. Transitioning to free safety from cornerback, Woodson has 38 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception through seven starts. In a best case scenario from the six-week timetable, Woodson would return in Week 14.

When did THAT happen? And did the Bears put a voodoo spell on the Packers or something, what is with these injuries?

Good thing we didn't get rid of Shields.

We are trying to replicate 2010. Facts are facts. 2010 - many injuries to key players - Superbowl win. 2011 - relatively injury free - 1 n done playoffs. Hey, don't question it - if it works it works.

Well, it'll be interesting to see how that secondary adjusts. They'll have 3 weeks of low-voltage opponent/bye to get their roles sorted out without Chuck.

Come season's end, they might be better off with the young guys back there and Wood in the wings.

Offense can certainly outscore Jax and Az, then comes the bye week.
@Det and @NYG will be tough, even Minn at home will be tough since Woodson would have been so involved on stopping AP

                Fuck!

Packersnews is reporting that Wood injured it in garbage time. Why were the starters still in the game with a 17 point lead?

Woodson is one of two players that I feel if injured will basically shut down this team. Rodgers is the other, I suppose we should be happy Mathews is still healthy.

Wonder if it's same break from SB game?

I noticed him grab for it after making a tackle...I dont think it was garbage time as the last drive or two I noticed him on the sidelines.
