Agreed. They were hurting without him.

The Packers are usually one of the more conservative teams wrt injuries though.

I think McCarthy said after the Jax game that Nelson was very close to being cleared. Hopefully there's no setback and he plays this week. Need Nelson for the FF team, too.

Kuhn is "feeling better". He's going to continue rehab tomorrow and test Friday.

They could use him. Williams wasn't too bad in pro on Sunday but he still is not as good as Kuhn. They could really use the vet against that Cards rush.

Nelson is not ready yet. He will not practice tomorrow either. So it would be the practice Friday, see how he is on Saturday deal. Means they aren't convinced he is ready.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Arizona is also giving up the most sacks in the league. Second most is Green Bay. Should be an interesting game in that regard.
Holy, that's quite a little piece of info! The turf monster should be out and about for this game!

              Quite a depressing list.

Do we have any more info on Shields other than 'lower body injury'. I really didn't think he'd be out for a couple of weeks.

See the tripping penalty vs Jax last w/e? Nasty, could've had another injury like Shield's from that.

I will be at the game so the Packers are going to win. Haven't seen a regular season loss since the NE stomp down in 2006.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

This year, this team, who the hell knows how this game is gonna go. Clearly, on paper, even with the injuries, the Packers should be favored - just like they were favored last week.

One thing is for sure, I'm not expecting a win. Cardinals are on a 4 game losing streak and Packers are on a three game winning streak. I hate playing teams that just lost - I hate it even more playing a team that's on a major losing streak. Not liking this one at all. Too many issues right now with the Packers: They can't run the ball, defensive secondary is like a sieve right now, too many injuries to "quality" starters, the o-line only plays when they want to, Rogers STILL holds onto the ball too long sometimes, pass rush seems to have fizzled out (See injuries), Receivers continue to drop easy catches, our Big-time Kicker is now having trouble with 32 yard FGs. All this shows a recipe for a loss against a team that is desperate for a win. Sorry guys - Packers are not winning this week.

The front seven is tough. Expect the front to stuff the run game and hit Rodgers continually.

On the other hand Peterson is overly aggressive and will give up big plays.

The offense is pathetic even with Colledge.

M3 has been watching Harbaugh. The 9ers do a lot of that kind of stuff.

They added the pulling earlier this year and at the time I thought it was for Benson, but later info points to Saturday. They have pulled before and it was usually to alleviate the Center from having to reach block a goof NT/DT. You saw this versus the Vikings and Pat Williams to help Wells. Saturday is having more trouble with reach blocks so this makes sense.

M3 flat out stated they had added some runs specifically for Green, and this might be one of them. But I mainly think this is a response to Kuhn being unavailable.

What is most disappointing to me is hearing about these teams with weak offensive lines, and finding that the Packers seem to have a hard time generating consistent pressure.

I want a nasty pass rush!

Our offense has to play a hell of lot better than they did against the Jags. AZ's offense isn't all that hot but they have a pretty decent defense.
