If I recall many of us were pimping both Martllus Bennett and Jermichael Finley the year they were coming out for the draft. Most in here liked Bennett better but both were high upside bests in college who obviously had receiving skills but had some maturity issues.

After last year it appeared Bennett was the bust with Dallas and we going to the NYG because they lost their two TE's

At this point, Bennett's upside seems lower but he's far more reliable than Finley and a better player IMO

Its not much. The base takes care of the acceleration. Not saying its smart, but easily doable.

No cap hit. We owe him a $3.5M roster bonus in March, and in addition, a $4.45M base salary for next year.
