Disagree. You don't win a superbowl MVP and league MVP being overrated. That said, there are times when I, as a fan, would like to see the QB taking chances blazing away trying to get back in the game. Not Rodgers MO though, and his way will win them more games than not.

I thought they tried to run at least 1 when my daughter was telling me a story about monkeys who wore pants and shirts.

        • I have said it before, and will again. When the cards fall right, Rodgers is a god. But when there is some adversity, he chokes big time. But it doesn't help that the head coach is a worthless fuck.

          • Well, there was this from the NFCN Blog:

            Aaron Rodgers
            Passer rating: 81.9
            QBR: 17.3
            Action plays: 38
Comment: Rodgers' QBR suggested Sunday night was one of the least effective games of his career; it was the lowest in a game with at least 20 action plays since Week 4 of the 2008 season. Our eyes told us Rodgers was part of an entire Green Bay Packers offense that got overwhelmed by the New York Giants, especially its offensive line. Rodgers was under duress, sacked or hit while throwing on 17 of his 33 drop backs. That 51.5 percentage is the highest against any NFL quarterback in a single game this season. For his part, Rodgers completed less than 50 percent of his first-down throws (4-of-11) for the first time this season.

              • I thought Collingsworth had the best comment of the night when he said "sometimes you've just gotta burn the tape and move on" at the end of the game.

                  • Opinions are like assholes...

I'm not saying they're wrong about Harrell, but look how they ranked Kaepernick; 2nd tier from the bottom.

Reading about it wasn't as bad as watching it. Ugly stuff.

Yes with Green to their left. Green outran the blockers and settled for 5-7 yards instead of the 10-15 he could have had.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Batch is 5-2 while subing for Roethlisberger through the years.

Projecting 5-2 to 10-4 to 11-5. Now if I could have a back-up QB that wins 5 NFL games of seven. I'd say I had a real gem. Yes Charlie Batch threw 3 Picks yesterday and the TO's killed the Steelers in Cleveland but as a backup for the Steelers Batch has done very well in the past.

I think we need a change of scenery - a Canadian flavour? I see Woody is back, maybe MTP can figure something out that him, I and Up North Fan can co-author it! We might even let Patler in as an honorary, seeing as he knows where Sudbury is, and has heard of the Wolves!
