  • Might the Packers lose another safety for his career???

    Saw this today:

Safety Sean Richardson, who went on injured reserve last Saturday, has a cervical neck injury "that came out of nowhere," said McCarthy.
They aren't sure if surgery will be required or not. They don't even know when the injury occurred.

who in the blue hell is sean richardson?

although since you say he's a packer, it doesn't surprise me that he's hurt

Made the Packers 53 man roster out of TC as an undrafted RFA from Vanderbilt.
Big, 6'2" 215 lbs, hard hitter.
Has played some, off and on.

It's part of the initiation process. You can't be on the Packers if you haven't been significantly injured. The Packer HOF has added being placed on IR as a qualification for enshrinement.

Wow, I don't remember seeing his name as one of the 53 on the roster coming out of camp, seeing feel good articles about him or anything. Usually there's something about any UDFA who looks like he might make it.
