  • Nice to see a W.

Like everyone's been saying. Cool to see the run game pick up. Cool to see that little guy run so decisively. Cool to know we get Clay and Wood back. Lang too. Dietrich Smith just isn't cutting it in there. Oh, nice to see Barclay play so well. He looks tough. Him and Sitton could be a nice combo over there.

The way Fairley pushed EDS back on that sack was embarrassing.

He's a good player. A bit of down year last year, but he can cover. He did so his rookie year and he's played well when healthy this year. Helps to have blazing speed, but he and Hayward are playmakers. House is more like Al Harris used to be. Solid, but didn't always make a ton of plays.

I think the light went on. I like the way he looks the last two weeks. If he continues this, he can be to this team what Starks was two years ago.

House tackles better and is more willing to engage in contact. But I otherwise agree. Shields speed just makes him available to react supremely fast. On that INT, he was never afraid of the WR getting behind him so he stayed in backpedal or angled run, watching the QB the entire time. He wasn't peeking into the backfield, he was watching it like it was a film.

When throw was closer to him than WR, the O never had a chance.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

It was EDS's pull and block that sprung Harris for his TD.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Looks like he actually got him to run a little faster.

He did that well, but he gets bull-rushed too much. Lang is better than EDS, and Barclay may be better than Lang at RT.

                      • I eat my words on Shields a bit. . . . But, they played mostly man. We don't do that often, most teams actually have the threat to run.

I completely agree. Run blocking the OL looked good tonight. Pass blocking was not good.
