We seem afraid to go downfield with the ball. I see what I see. All these quick screens to the WR's. We are afraid to take a chance in this weather. This offense looks lost right now. Once upon a time, we attacked and sent Finley down the middle of the seam while Jennings would go deep and Cobb or Nelson would go downfield as well. We had defenses on their heals. That seems lost.

This is funny. Every one bitching about going down field all year. Now this week we are throwing short and people are bitching.

There is no offensive line for protection. They could barely hold the pocket to throw a 15-20 yard route for Jennings.

I want them to throw shorter, not longer. Faster reads. 1 then 2 progression, then get rid of it. Stop going backward. It doesn't help to run the ball if it never pulls them out of Cover 2 or slow down the pass rush.

Also, I thought you were commenting more about the Lions than the Pack O.

Haven't we been screaming for this all year. Totally agree with you. Why would they change now. Sure, we'll see some adjustments, then they go right back to the deep stuff.
