I like the Visigoths -6.5 on the road in Rome.

Not the Ostrogoths or the Vandals?

Visigoth's got there first, didn't they?

Actually, now that I re-read Tony's post, I forgot he mentioned Mongols and not Barbarians or Goths. Got my invading marauders confused.

back on topic, Tweet Silverstein has the following news:

Patler is a genius, Sitton playing, Lang at Guard, and Barclay at RT.

Given the time, that is probably from the lineup sheet they put out before the game in the press box. Its official, but does not reflect decisions made after warmups. So it could change.

          Packer inactives:

          Tom Oates ‏@TomOatesWSJ
#Packers inactives: Charles Woodson, James Starks, Terrell Manning, Donald Driver, D.J. Williams, Jordy Nelson, CJ Wilson.

DJ Williams the only healthy scratch.

Jennings and Melton are both inactives for the Bears. If Packers can control Peppers, Arod should have some time to throw.

With Urlacher and Jennings out, I wouldn't be surprised to see Finley have a good day.

                          Get a beer goin' QB.

Man, I'm nervous. It took Mad's pep talk to calm me down a little.

I'm in the Cincy area and local TV has the Pack as the feature game. All the local broadcasters are excited about getting the game.

Well, time for that first beer.
