Good call wist. It's always good to hear your one dimensional thinking.

Please chime in after next week's game in Lambeau Field. I look forward to your cogent analysis as always.

Their receivers are not any good and you have to think your guys can cover them tight enough to make it really tough for Ponder to fit one in w/ the defense coming after him.
On that play, the 3 down lineman defense would have worked, but Hayward abandoned his area, I don't know why, maybe he was afraid Ponder was going to run, but, I think he was responsible for covering the Viking WR that ending up catching the pass. Nobody was close to him, easy pitch and catch for a big gain. Should have never happened.

Those stupid morons at faux screwed us. We had no sound or picture for the first 3 minutes of the game and then we got a pink and green picture for most of the first quarter. Once we got a normal picture there was no HD. Then after the half they went to the SF game instead and we missed that TD on the first drive!!

Yup--they had two wins over the '04 Vikings with the same score each time--34 to 31. Vikings had Moss and Nate Burleson as WRs back then, but on the other hand their RB was Michael Bennett. I had to look up the Bears matchups on ProFootballReference.com and I don't think they ever beat the Bears three times in a year. They only have played them in the playoffs twice--1941 (when the Bears won the title) and 2010 (Bears won the first game, Packers the second and Packers won the playoff game). I thought maybe they might have beaten the Lions three times in one year in the 1990s, but they split the regular season games that year. It looks like there is one time the Packers ever won three in a season from the same team: the 1965 NFL champion Packers beat the Baltimore Colts twice in the regular season and once in the playoffs.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Ah ha, I thought they won the two regular season games against the Bears in 2010. I'm confusing the 2010 season and the 2011 season.

Troy Aikman was all over MM on that impulsive 'red flag toss' and that over and over and over and over ..... again.

If we were gonna suck eggs I'd rather it be today rather than in the playoffs. Let's hope they got their crappy play out of there system for a while...

Diss Wist all you want but this was a disconcerting loss. No way around it. The Vikings flat out beat the Packers. They are on a four game winning streak and going forward are playing with house money.

I am starting to wonder that Dom didn't want to empty his whole playbook in case we lost and had to play them again next week. To me that is horrible logic but against TENN we were blitzing like crazy and then this week we played off a lot.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

The refs NEVER call holding on the other team enough. I swear somebody has a voodoo doll of MM somewhere poking needles in it from head to foot.

I am so sick and tired of getting those 2 clowns almost every freaking week. We'll probably be stuck with these bozos again next week.

Tennessee was playing with a makeshift o-line that was really, really bad. It made sense to try and overwhelm their o-line with blitzes.

That and a couple of other plays is why we can't let Jennings go after this season!

Yes mr_blonde, very disconcerting. Very disconcerting that we won the NFC North title (again) and they held serve at their place. Good for them. Sucks that the Packers could only win 9 out of their last 11 games. What a downer.

Let's see your commentary next week after the game in Lambeau. Looking forward to it.
