So another one bites the dust and dammit if it didn't go fast. Sometimes I wonder if it is because so much revolves around this time of year (holidays & football!) or is it just because getting older does that. Who knows but it was fun reading every post, from the good to the bad, the informed to the insane. I dont believe any topic got missed and no matter what happens the rest of this season let's see everyone back dropping knowledge or bullshit for all to see in 2013. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I look forward to it. Happy New Year everyone, hope you have a great time getting swerved or lit or even just kicking it with your loved ones.

It is not merely a feeling that the years pass more quickly as we age. It is, in a sense, a mathematical reality that time moves faster as we get older. Statistically, each passing year is the same amount of time, but, in comparison to every prior year, it will account for a smaller percentage of the life we've lived thus far. Beyond that, the days of our childhood were rich with new experiences and our brains were rapidly building new mental structures to accommodate new concepts, and so many of those memories are indelible. Indeed, nursing home residents who don't recognize their grown children still muse on the wondrous days of their youth. As we mature we spend more time predicting our experiences, forgetting them quickly if they are unremarkable. By the time you reach my age I have little to do but bore my offspring with tales from the crypt of history and pound random keys on my cell phone until it stops making noises.
And yet I look forward to predicting all the shit that is going to happen to me in yet another year, even though it will pass quickly and I won't remember a tenth of it.
Happy New Year Rats![QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Man, I'm at work...it's 4:25am here and all is quiet - which is nice though. One more nightshift to go at Hospital and I'm back to working in daylight!
