I think Kevin Barry was from Racine.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Milwaukee for a tackle as in a kingdom for a horse! What's in Racine anyway? Worth a visit?

Yes, I know what you meant. But to answer the interesting question of what to see in Racine, not sure if any historical places exist for this in Racine proper (there is a marker in Miwaukee see wiki below), but the one thing I know was its role in the Underground Railway.

Joshua Glover escaped from Missouri and settled (I believe) in Racine which had an active Railway contingent. His former owner found him and tried, through the Fugitive Slave Act, to retrieve him. As part of the proceedings, he was arrested in Racine by federal officials and taken to a Milwaukee jail. He was then freed from the Milwaukee jail by a mob of 5,000 and escorted to Canada. It sounds like a bad Get Smart TV plot, but actually happened.

In these days, Racine had a large population of Unitarians from the Northeast who tended to be (and in this case were) abolitionists.

There then lead to the spectacle of both the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the WI Legislature declaring the Fugitive Slave Law unconstitutional and null and void in WI.

The only other thing I know is that the only boat slips anywhere near Chicago that are affordable were in Racine, but that may have changed. Haven't talked to the family that knew about this in a long time.

Of course! It's the old professor Peter Peckinpah, all-purpose, anti-personell, Pekinpah pocket pistol under the toupe trick!

Nah...Barclay and Bulaga are RT's. I think TT plans on Sherrod coming back and competing against Newhouse. I expect him to draft a C, cut Saturday, and have draft pick and EDS fight it out in TC.
Of course, this means TT will draft a WR.

Bulaga at LT would struggle with the athletes IMO...they havegiven him trouble in the past. Bruce Irvin gave him fits.
Wouldn't surprise me if they draft another tackle, try him at guard, and ruin 'em. A few years later Seattle and that jerk Carroll claims off waivers & turns into an All-Pro.

Is Van Roten the heir apparent to EDS as swing guy at C-G?

Everyone laughs about TT drafting a WR, but that's because we would all laugh and roll our eyes.

Funniest thing he could do, from my seat is draft a QB in the first! I'd laugh my ass off waiting for this forum to explode if he did that!!!

Was he slow on the snap? Sometimes playing in the dome for the first time with the noise level can be a challenge for an OT.

I'm gonna watch the replay & I can tell you for sure Joe.

From memory, he was getting beat and went into a shell, playing flat footed and tentative.

I gotta give the kid a break, a CFA making the roster, then starting on the road in a big game?

He had a poor game coming, let's see how he rebounds.

I live in Sturtevant, a suburb of the Racine metropolis. Geographically it's great I'm 20 minutes from Milwaukee and 50 minutes from Shitcago without the hassles of daily rush hour bullshit. Other than that not so much, although Racine has a great shoreline.

Yeah, I don't see any of the QB's coming out as worth spending GB's R1 on...Coleman should get better and push Harrell, who does not impress me. With Jennings and Driver probably on their way out, I wouldn't be surprised if TT drafts a WR early. As much fun as it is to guess what TT will do, I have no idea. I am least surprised when he does something I hadn't even considered.

Datko might get better and push for a tackle spot. McGinn seems to love EDS, who knows if he's the answer at C, but I think Saturday is gone too. Even with all these guys, the OL isn't that great...Rodgers was sacked 51 times this year (a league high I believe). If that keeps up they will need to draft a high-round QB.

A QB at #32 is not necessarily a bad pick. Rodgers is nearing 30, and Harrell can't hand the ball off, much less complete a pass. Unless they are really high on , they could use a decent developmental guy with round one talent who might have to take over in 2-3 years.
