  • Bevell to Bears?

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...erview-bevell/

I know that Darrell Bevell is doing a decent job with Wilson for the Seahags, but I can't picture him as HC material.

But here are the Muppets of the Midway going after him.

Also seeing Chip Kelly is heading back to Oregon after getting courted by Browns and Eagles. Can I hear the cash register of Nike's Phil Knight (big OREGON booster and founder of the 50,000 uniform combos they have) opening up for him???

I was mortified when Bevell's name was floated as a replacement at UW. I couldn't be more happy that he is being considered for the Bears!
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Maybe the Bear's offense awakes from hibernation.

That might delay the retiring of number 4 until a time when we can all get to Green Bay for the ceremony in our flying cars.

As long as the bares leave Clements alone I don't give a rip who they hire. Rodgers leans on TC more than McAdoo so I want him to stay in GB.

Pardon my ignorance: why the Bevell-Hate? Is it a Vikings-Bert thing or a holdover from UW days?

With Favre as his OC, Cutler should be good for about 35 interceptions per year.

Probably from the Vikings Favre era when Bevell was OC or QB coach in Minny.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

That gif covers just about all the frustrations a coach has on the sidelines. Can't get someone's attention, can't be heard, can't achieve understanding in such a short amount of time. I'm surprised more coaches just don't drop on the sideline.

They drop all the time, but usually they just don't even make it to the sidelines.
