look good on tape. you can not have poor pad level and be able to penetrate
STRENGTHS Versatile lineman that can fit in an odd or even front. Fires off the ball with impressive pad level and is often able to shock the offensive lineman with a quick jolt. Use active hands to disengage quickly. If he cannot disengage, he keeps his arms extended. Maintains the line by keeping his body leaning forward. Difficult for running backs to avoid him in tight quarters, keeps his feet moving while wrapping up. Shows surprising bend and agility to break down and make tackles in space and to contain when given that assignment. Gives chase to ballcarriers outside the box when fresh. Churns toward the quarterback and keeps his hands active to encroach until the ball is away. Vocal leader on the field.
It's now official... the 2-whatever is now our base Def.
This guy is CJ Wilson.
CJ Wilson is a limited talent guy with very minimal upside; this guy has huge upside...19.5 tackles for losses last year....legit pass rushing force. Great Pick
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER
Well, if you listen to TT, Datone Jones sounds like a pretty complete player.
Great guy, hard worker, smart, played NT, DT, 5-tech, DE, plays square, has burst, closes hard. . . . .
Knowing what I know about football, that's a pretty complete package. It sounds more similar to when we picked Josh Sitton than BJ Raji. Raji, TT talked about unusual power. . . With Sitton he talked about how he did everything on the field well. . . . Just off the top, the things he said, it reminds me of the Greg Jennings and Josh Sitton picks. TT just said he does everything well, he's a player.
He also seems very, very safe. Productive, athletic, hard worker, smart, natural playmaker. . . . No holes in this guy.
Patterson has a lot of talent, and a lot of bad habits. He'll need to be receptive to coaching to excel.
I can't run no more
With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen
