As for RB, as I said in the other post... it's such an incidental position to what the Packers do. They'll never consistently run the ball. Certainly not enough to justify a 2nd round pick.

Maybe TT and MM realized how much more they could get out of the offense if they had a guy like Lacy. It tells you how damn good Rodgers is that he can carry an offense without much of a run game. If Lacy can make the opposing D respect the run or just the threat of the run, then it's going to make our offense less predictable, and more deceptive. Perhaps we could even take the top off the D a little more.

It has been boring. I checked in here when round 2 started and the place was empty. I'm still not sure on the trade. Swapped a 2 for a 1 and essentially paid out a 3,4 and late 7.

Gotta see if Patterson is as electric as they say.

Lacy is 5'11", 231. Hits the hole hard, shows burst, doesn't go down at first contact and has big games against top competition. With the understanding that one can't predict what happens when these kids hit the Bigs, WTF isn't there to like?
