Does TT hate players from Stanford?
Why not OLB Chase Thomas,Stanford?
Anyone ever check out, hear of... or otherwise scent a Nate Palmer Fr. Illinois State being picked?
Who's estatic or even mildly pleased about that pick?** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.

Kind of a thin story on him...http://sea.scout.com/a.z?s=114&p=9&c=2&cid=1286589&nid=6601391&fhn=1Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

He played for Illinois State after transferring from Illinois. Illinois State probably doesn't have their own pro day, so that was one of the closer alternatives.Originally posted by smuggler View PostHad a weak 40 yard dash at his pro day, but has good agility and leaping metrics. He had a wrist injury and also transfered between programs. He's listed as being from "Illinois State" but did his Pro Day at Northwestern.
One piece I saw said he led the nation in hits on QBs his senior year, though that may be FCS level.Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

that isn't the right Nate Palmer, the Packers drafted an OLB, not a TE. the video is of a guy from Norther Illinios not Illinios stateOriginally posted by smuggler View PostInteresting TE prospect. He looks like a playmaker in some of his highlights, although against weak competition. He's smooth in the open field with the ball in his hands, which you don't see too often from a TE.

More on him in a story originally from Packer Report: http://min.scout.com/2/1287481.html
I like that he was Academic All-Big Ten when he played at Illinois.
Quote from the story:As a senior captain at Illinois State, Palmer led the nation in quarterback hits (27) and piled up 7.5 sacks, 15 tackles for losses and three forced fumbles.Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

Jaysus red that's a good one...Have an awesome evening man.Originally posted by red View Postso is it bad when nfl.com doesn't have any info on the player we just drafted?
This day is verrrrry strange.
Nate Palmer:
Mae tells me he's HOT! See likes his body. Mae has great taste. (-;
Coming off a 2013 wrist injury/transfer Fr. Illinois...He's a OLB/DE.
Love the versatility.
Measurements: 20 Reps... 40 = 4.70 'a Burner' ...
This man 'black man' can jump.
His Vert. = 35.5 and A broadjump of 10'- 5 "... shuttle = 4.37 and 3 cone = 6.98
So he measures up well.
and TT is rescuing him from 'Da Land of Da Bears'.
Just verified him:
Some more...Scouts have him as 51 of 200 OLB and 593 of 2444 overall.Last edited by woodbuck27; 04-27-2013, 04:24 PM.** Since 2006 3 X Pro Pickem' Champion; 4 X Runner-Up and 3 X 3rd place.
