Let me point out that the Ravens D, which has been mauled all year and whose most effective lineman might be Kruger is having no problem matching up with the 49ers O. Their toughness versus the run has been a problem all year long. It does help to get Suggs and Lewis back, but I am not sure the problem is toughness or lineman exclusively.

There is no excuse for the D performance in the playoff game.

its part of the silent count. Guard reads the QB while center watches defense. He then turns his head back around and yells at the center to start the count and look for the QB to signal for the snap.
