    A Packer's record falls

    Allen Barbre had the record for fastest 40 yard dash by an O-lineman at the combine. His record was shattered by one lineman this year, and surpassed by another.

    Why do they have any lineman run the 40?
    Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 forty, Terrell Davis ran a 4.72.

    They outta switch this kid to defense withthat speed.

      As with a lot of the combine tests, simply a gauge of athleticism. By itself, it doesn't mean a lot. Otherwise, Barbre would be an all-pro by now!

        Here he went downhill fast anyway.
