If TO and Glenn stay on the field, they could be very difficult to deal with and the combination of Barber and Jones is pretty good and sprinkle in Whitten and if they're line gives Bledsoe/Romo any time they will be hard to stop. I am absolutely in love with Demarcus Ware and I think he will be the DMVP and carry the Cowboys to a championship

Was just reading an article on NFL.com about the winners and losers of the NFC north. Of course we are picked to be dead last at 4-12, but check out this little excerpt, most notably, our "significant losses". Robert Thomas? Geez....where do these writers come from?

Significant additions: CB Charles Woodson; DT Ryan Pickett; S Marquand Manuel.

Significant losses: WR Javon Walker; LB Na'il Diggs; C Mike Flanagan; DT Grady Jackson; PK Ryan Longwell; LB Robert Thomas; RB Tony Fisher; QB Craig Nall; LB Paris Lenon.

Biggest offseason move: Signing Woodson. If he stays healthy, the Packers have one of the premier players at his position. I said, "If." He has missed parts of three of the past four seasons.

Will make the playoffs if: Ahman Green turns back the clock to 2003.

Won't make the playoffs if: The offensive line can't plug its leaks.

Rookie to watch: LB A.J. Hawk.

Overview: Brett Favre might wonder why he returned if new coach Mike McCarthy doesn't find him an offensive line that isn't cracked. There is nothing wrong with Favre, unless he's forced to run for his life. Protecting him with a line and a strong rushing attack is imperative.

Funny! Robert Thomas and Paris Lenon are significant losses, but Ben Taylor isn't a significant addition. Most teams get good because of their 2nd and 3rd year players--not rookies and not free agents. These teams often get overlooked too. That's why I think next year is the year we could get back in the playoff hunt.
