In this instance the player decided that nobody was beating down his door, and he didn't want to put his body through any more at less than a certain price he had in his head. Had another team came calling w/ an offer closer to what he was looking for he'd be on that team right now. As it stood, the bears offered him more money than he was likely to get from anyone else and there just wasn't a market for him. I still think the guy can play and be effective but not as a 3 down guy.Comment
